The film "Way in Rye," Goran Stankovic, graduate student of TV directing at the Academy of Arts, is located at the very heart of the list of nine finalists in the category of feature films that have been nominated for the 41st Academy Awards Student / Student Oscar /!
Our director has been nominated as a student of the American Film Institute in Hollywood, where he continued his education, and the same was received as a scholarship with the film "Departures" from which he graduated at the Academy of Arts in Belgrade.
During his studies he was awarded a total of 18 awards and his films are shown in the official programs of the most important domestic and international short film festivals. His film with the third year of "Who guards the guardians", won ten international awards (USA, Mexico, Brazil, Russia, Israel, Greece, Italy, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Greece), the most important being: "Platinum Remy "in Houston, awards for film's achievement in Thessaloniki, the Grand Prix in Skopje, and awards for the camera installation at the festival in Belgrade and many others.
